    Al Franken is right about families — the composition of the “parent” component is less important than that there is a solid parenting function.

    I will also give Mr. Minnery, the benefit of being a victim of one’s own view creating assumptions. In his mind, a “nuclear family” meant an opposite sex couple with children, if the study doesn’t specifically say otherwise, then he is not being dishonest, just wrong.
