‘Alice In Chains’ Bassist Dies at 44

I grew up in the 90s, and as result I have an affinity for grunge music.

Alice in Chains was one of my favourite groups back when I was an angsty teen. Unfortunately, their original lead singer, Layne Staley passed away in 2002 from a drug overdose, and now their original bassist Mike Starr has died, also likely due to a drug overdose.

This is my favourite song, ‘Down in a Hole’. Starr left the band in 1992 so he isn’t in this video, but damn if it isn’t a great rendition. Enjoy!
